What you need to know.
• Your home phone activation may take up to 7 days. If you require multiple phones at your residence you can use portable cordless phones. Wireless Broadband services do not use phone jack points or a copper connection.
• To make a call you will need to dial the area code before dialing the phone number (e.g. 09, 07, 03 etc.). A delay of up to 10 seconds may take place before ringing begins. You can reduce this by pressing * when you dial out.
• A Wireless Broadband modem needs mains power in order to operate. This means that if a power outage occurs your broadband and phone line services (including emergency services) will be inaccessible.
We suggest having a mobile phone that is fully charged on hand at all times. We highly recommend using a UPS (uninterrupted power supply) which will keep both your Wireless Broadband and phone line services operating during a power outage.
• If you have a monitored alarm (medical or security) at your home that runs via your landline you will need to upgrade your alarm to a version that is compatible with Wireless Broadband. The majority of alarm providers supply monitoring solutions designed for Wireless. It is crucial that you organize this with your alarm provider.
• Wireless Broadband plans & modems are for a fixed location only. They are not permitted to be moved to another address or venue.
In order to give all customers a dependable and stable service the 4G network must be managed. If customers relocate their modems this restricts the capacity to maintain and manage the network.
If you use your Wireless Broadband modem in an alternate location, we may restrict or disconnect your Wireless Broadband service without notice.
In the case that you move house, please let us know in advance. By informing as soon as possible we can verify what Broadband options are available at your new residence and can get you set up for your relocation.
