Want to set up your broadband yourself?
Get yourself started with Plug & Play.
You can get your services set up in your own time with a Plug & Play self-installation kit. We’ll supply everything you need for the service that you’ve chosen, including your modem, cables and a helpful guide to setting things up yourself. A postage fee will apply, but don’t worry it’s added to your account so you won’t have to pay any upfront costs.
Wireless Broadband Plug & Play
With Wireless Broadband you don’t need any existing infrastructure, everything you need will come in your Plug & Play kit.
Plug your modem in
Insert the connector end of your power adaptor into the power port at the back of your modem and plug the other end into a power socket.
We recommend doing this in a part of your home that receives the best mobile service. High up, ideally near a window, clear of obstacles, not out of sight (e.g. in a cupboard) and away from heat sources.
Power your modem up
Preferably all 3 signal indicators should be active with a green light, however your Wireless Broadband will still work with only 1 or 2. The Power, Status and Wi-Fi indicator’s should also be active with a green light. Your MODE indicator should be blue.
You can relocate the modem around your home and test out where you receive the best service.
Connect your devices
Refer to the label on the bottom of the modem for the default Wi-Fi network name (Wi-Fi Name) and password (Wi-Fi Password) and connect a device. Promptly change the Wi-Fi network name and password on the web-based management page.
Once you have changed the password, you will need to reconnect to the Wi-Fi and connect all of your other devices. Now you can start enjoying Amplio Wireless Broadband.
